As you can see throughout my portfolio , I have made music videos , commercials, and now a movie . However , if I am being honest , the movie was my favorite part . Just the development process of it , was so enticing. Being able to acquire the skillset and knowledge of actual movie actors and shooters was incredible . I learned an incredible amount, for stuff that is done within the movie creating field it was so great. Additionally , my group was very fun to work with . Each of us had a specific role and we exemplified ourselves swiftly in each respective role . For me personally , I was mainly the one who coordinated the filming parts and edited the entire movie . Some people would say the “brains” of the film ! Moreover , the rest of my group, Nicole, Pedro, and Jordyn; were more the hands and feet , as they were the main actors , and heavily assisted in developing ideas to bring forth this great film. No doubt about it, along the way we did get confused on the direction we should

We worked and put a-lot of time and effort into this project, form the very start. From deciding on a group with each other, to deciding a movie genre, to creating a pitch, and so much more, into a wonderful introduction of the movie! It has been a long road, but we have finally come to the end of it all. It was really fun to work together with my group into developing this. For me personally, I never knew that I could've created something of this caliber. However, with the assistance of my teachers and friends, i was able to acquire so much skills and knowledge, into the development of this wonderful movie. Moreover, after reviewal of our movie before saving it and putting it away, we did a little editing on some of the titles and things of that sort. We showed a few more people for critiques as we were nervous and we wanted to ensure that we'd get the best score possible. After doing that we came to a decision to finish it off, as we all were collectively satisfied with our p

 Today was the day we decided to be the last day to work on our movie. We as a whole, had a-lot of other demands, so we wanted to spend the rest of class, getting this one specifically out the way. Especially, with how far we've come with it. Luckily, Jordyn made a checklist of all of our critiques we've acquired from both of our "film review" sessions. We went throughout the list, to see if these changes were wanted from us as a whole, or whether or not they were necessary for the enhancement of our film. Some of these critique included, the smoothness of our film, the transitions, the lightning, the flow of the sound, adding in more sound, making sure the story flows, and the list goes on. We accepted a-lot of these changes. For example, for lighting we did a-lot of color correcting within several of these clips! We did like the turn out for some of the clips, but not all. For the simple fact that some of the clips did look uneven with the color correction added. Ad

 Today in class, I was reviewing over the movie a little more. I was just fixing the little stuff, for example spelling, title placement and etc. We just kept watching it over and over again and made some small adjustments. During this time, we took time to chill and play uno with each-other and someone else for another group, because we were very punctual with our time, and got everything done, ASAP ! It was really funny, for how everyone else was stressing at this point, and we were just sitting here, prepared and ready, and playing UNO. It is a good feeling to be on top of your work. After we were done with our games of UNO. We watched our videos one more time, made some lighting adjustments and some transition adjustments as-well. After we finished that , we decided to do a "film review" part 2, and went around the class and asked for opinions and to see if there was anything else noticeable to fix on our movie. This run through of our "film review" brought out

 Today we added the finishing touches to our movie, it was missing some transitions and some sounds, that would contribute to the opening of the movie. We tried some ideas that we had to see if it would fit in the flow of the movie. Some of our ideas worked, and some did not. Continuously, after we finished up all of our small changes, we saved our video and looked it over a few times. Each person in the group got one person to show the movie too acquire feedback from the person. We all decided to go to one our friends, and we showed it to them. Later within the day, we sent all of the critiques in our group chat, and we discussed over them. Some of the critiques we did not agree with, but some of them were mistakes that we never even realized. For example, turn down the volume on some clips, for the imbalance of sound that it contributed to the film. Another one that was noticed by one of our friends was, cutting out some clips to make the film shorter, and not putting the entire idea

 Today we met and we airdropped all of our videos to the laptop which we will be editing on. We know this is the most time consuming portion of the whole project and the most critical. Majority of our point are going to be coming from this apart as the beginning of a movie definitely needs editing and texts all over it to carry over it's message. Air dropping all these videos took an extremely long time. Some of the files were big and some were small, so this portion took about 30 minutes. To make our load lighter we edited some of the clips as we airdropped them to the laptop. At this point we did not have a title for our movie, so during the transference of the clips, we decided on one the title which will be "The House". We decided on this because the climax of our film, transpires and commences in a house. After we came up with the title, we started to mess around with the different settings on the application.
