AICE Media Studies

 Today was the day we started our first part of our filming for our commercial. My group and I were extremely excited, to put all of our drawings and small sentences to real life, and we surely did execute. Our storyboards was our guideline, that we followed by to the T. Our first filming spot was the track. In this scene, it was our goal to portray the health and athletic benefits of the Apple Watch. By doing this, Pedro enacted a track star, he ran until his heart rate got really high and then we showed that the Apple Watch can track your heart rate. This is something a lot of people find interest in, and having this in there would be a great eye catcher for the audience into buying the Apple Watch. After we were done with this scene we went inside our classroom for the next scene. This scene was to display the breath feature that the Apple Watch has, that comes in handy a lot. Scene 1: Showing an athlete using the watch , and is about to run  Scene 2: Reaches the end of the race, and Shows the heart rate, and the music that he is playing  Scene 3: Showing the breath features of someone that I stressed by a test  Scene 4: Showing how you style the watch, and the different color bands  Scene 5: Closing out, sampling the whole use of the Apple Watch 

 Props Being that our commercial is an Apple Watch commercial, our main prop will be the Apple Watch. However we will also have different color Apple Watch bands as well as props aswell Costumes We have came up with these costumes to flow with the message we are trying to portray of the apple watch within that scene. Therefore, two of us will be exempliying the athletics perks of the Apple Watch, by wearing athletic clothing, to show the health and workout benefits of the watch. Another scene will include one of us wearing a really nice outfit, which may include, but is not limited to a nice shirt, jeans and some nice shows. This will help show the customization part of the watch and how stylist it can be and easy access it can.  My partner and I are doing are going an Apple Watch commercial. From the commercials we've seen, they are very technological and sophisticated, however they provide important information on their product in a very fun and interesting way.  1. They include the product in different colors and different people portraying the use of the product  2. They are in a lot of different locations, which assists in the information they are trying to provide  3. Some are also very technologically advanced, where they are strictly focused on the watch itself without any progressive acts of people to bring in the whole commercial  4. All of their fits usually fit the theme in which the commercial is going into, everything matches the scenes  5. Some angles used in the videos were low angles and dutch angles. These add a lot to the commericial that gives a more in depth and personal connection and also achieve a better understanding with he commercial  6. Theres a lot of panning movement involved,

 For this project I will be working with Alejandro. I met him my freshman year in high school and since then we have clicked and became friends. We always had a similar schedule with at least one class together each year. He took a similar path as me, where academic are concerned. He is also enrolled into the pre-law program, here at Fort Lauderdale High, with high achieving AICE and AP classes. Despite the bond we have, the dedication he shows towards his work is admirable, which is why I seen him fit as a great partner, through the duration of this project. Additionally, we do share some of the same interest in a lot of stuff. For example, he is a sneaker-head and so am I. Having this similarity will make the development of this project easy and smooth. He is also a creative person, so with both of our minds clicking, we will be able to come up with some cool stuff to create.  Hello, my name is Damaine Thompson. I am an 11th grader here at Fort Lauderdale High, who is attaining to graduate with my full Cambridge diploma and my regular high school diploma as-well, with honors. Prior to signing for high school, I wanted to be a lawyer, I really devoted and determined to become one. After taking my first year of a law class here at Fort Lauderdale, I changed my mind. I realized that law was just not for me. I then changed my focus into business administration and financing and I do wish to pursue this as I approach my college journey. A lot of people ask me why I decided to take AICE Media, but I do a lot of photography and videography on the side, so I though it's be fun to do it as a class and explore and learn new stuff about a developing craft I have.
