Filming Blog

 Today was the day we started our first part of our filming for our commercial. My group and I were extremely excited, to put all of our drawings and small sentences to real life, and we surely did execute. Our storyboards was our guideline, that we followed by to the T. Our first filming spot was the track. In this scene, it was our goal to portray the health and athletic benefits of the Apple Watch. By doing this, Pedro enacted a track star, he ran until his heart rate got really high and then we showed that the Apple Watch can track your heart rate. This is something a lot of people find interest in, and having this in there would be a great eye catcher for the audience into buying the Apple Watch. After we were done with this scene we went inside our classroom for the next scene. This scene was to display the breath feature that the Apple Watch has, that comes in handy a lot. Alejandro was the student who enacted someone stressed over a test, and then the breathe feature came on the Apple Watch and he calmed down. This was to show that the Apple Watch can be a great assistant when you're in a stressed situation. After this it was time to go, and we packed up and left. We have one more scene to do on Friday, we will quickly do that before starting our editing.

The Final Apple Watch Commercial

This  commercial was really fun to make and enjoyable. First, with working with my group, it was really interactive and fun to be able to conjoin with people and develop a commercial. I always wanted to record and edit a video for something fun and I was glad I was allowed to do it with my group. Also, learning about the different important details of editing, filming, and etc. was really interesting to me, especially since I am really invested in filming and editing. It was fun to explore new things and be able to understand the small details of everything. By using my vocabulary words for, casual things I would usually say was really interesting and fun to do. All in all, this was a very fun project and I really do enjoy it, and I would love to do it again some day .

The Dream Team

 This project I will be working with a group of friends, that I have acquired over the period of this class. For the first project I worked with 2 people, Alejandro and Pedro. It wasn't the best group, I felt as if I did majority of the work and it made the project not so fun at all, I was aggravated and I did not want to be apart of something that was so one sided. With all of that, it caused me to work by myself for the second project which was more enjoyable in the sense that i didn't have people just benefiting from my work for free, but it was stressful at the same time, because I really didn't have anyone to be my actors. Especially since my family was always, and my friend schedules never really matched up together. This motivated me to meet a group of people that had the same drive for their work as me and the same type of decorum, when it comes to putting in a hand in a project.
