The Final Apple Watch Commercial

Image
This  commercial was really fun to make and enjoyable. First, with working with my group, it was really interactive and fun to be able to conjoin with people and develop a commercial. I always wanted to record and edit a video for something fun and I was glad I was allowed to do it with my group. Also, learning about the different important details of editing, filming, and etc. was really interesting to me, especially since I am really invested in filming and editing. It was fun to explore new things and be able to understand the small details of everything. By using my vocabulary words for, casual things I would usually say was really interesting and fun to do. All in all, this was a very fun project and I really do enjoy it, and I would love to do it again some day .

Today we had our minds set on finishing the editing portion for our commercial. I went ahead and finished up the cutting and splitting in the video, just organizing all my clips. I started to align the musics with the different clips, to make it match up with the beat and flow. I was really feeling it, I started to really feel it and started to share it with my other friends. It was really fun to do and watch the coming together of it. Additionally,  we went ahead and started looking at sone apple commercials to match the vibe that they give off. We then tried our best to mirror it in a way so that we can best visually mirror it. Additionally, we then started to do some additionally cutting and splitting os that our commercial can come under 30 seconds. With many replays and constructive criticism we were able to finish on that day. We started to color correct as well, to help with the lighting imbalance that was on the clips from the sun. that assisted in making out commercial look m

Editing Blog

Today we started editing our commercial. It was really consumed of most of the technical piece of editing. Which consist of transferring videos, and pictures to the laptop, which took a-lot of time. I tried to airdrop them all at once but that did not work, I then tried to text them to myself, and that failed as-well. I also tried to email myself everything and my phone said it was too big of a file. In the end I had to individually air drop them to my laptop. That took majority of my class time, however once I got that done I started to align all my photos and videos in the editing app. After that was all settled, I went to look for some background music and sound effects, that's would properly suit my commercial the best. This was the most intense part, because my choice or music and the flow of the commercial really crashed, while trying to decipher which songs=, I wanted to use. However, after my group and I discussed what would be best, we came up with two songs and 3 differe

Filming Blog Part 2

Today was our second day of filming for our commercial, it wasn't as technical as the first day of filming, because we had an assigned goal of what we were going to do. It was the simplest part. We grabbed out story board and placed checkmarks next to the sections we fulfilled in filming. That was majority of our story board, leaving us with only two scene boxes to fulfill. When we went outside, we realized the one of our scene boxes were irrelevant to the message we were trying to bring across. It was an additional benefit of the Apple Watch, but it did not flow with what our story was geared towards. We ended up taking it out and moving to the last part of our films and we added a new closing part. It was really productive and all parts were real tentative to us. We had to make sure each part flowed and looked good, and to make sure everything looked perfect. After we went through the film, and looked over the different shots, we started to transfer some of the videos to our com
