Film Film FIlm FIlm !

Today, my group and I filmed the first part of our film. We were only able to shoot certain scenes because we ended up getting rained out and couldn't do the scenes that required us to be outside. We had to move from the beach to the house and had to adjust our plans to one of our partner's houses. The scenes we were able to do were the car scenes, target scenes, and any scenes that involved us being inside the house. Today was a half-day at school so we were able to leave school early which meant we could also start filming early. We all met at Damaine's car where he took us to get chic-fil-a. Rather than going to eat at Pedro's house, we ate in the car so we could do the car scenes at the same time and not have to do them at a later date. After we finished eating we tried to find a Wal-Mart that was near us. We could not find any in our proximity so we decided to opt for Target which was much closer. When we got to Target we tried to find someone that would record us walking in. Everyone seemed to be in a rush and would not film for us until we found two lovely ladies who agreed. Once we finished filming that scene we got together and discussed how we would go about filming the next scene. We said that we would film on Damaine's camera and have all the footage there. Once we shot all of the Target scenes, we left to get into the car where we would shoot the two-car scenes. Since neither one of the artists Nicole and I contacted ever got back to us, we had to use royalty-free music, which is not the best. We recorded the scenes needed and immediately changed the music to something everyone liked. We then reached Pedro's house where we would meet his mother and settle in before filming again. Since it was raining, we were only able to shoot the scenes that were taken inside the house or under some sort of covering. Many of the scenes needed were outside shots, but we were able to make do with what happened. We shot scenes located in the kitchen, living room, and guest room. My group and I plan to film again after Spring Break since we will all be out of town during that time. We were planning to use a weekend since it would be best

The Final Apple Watch Commercial

This  commercial was really fun to make and enjoyable. First, with working with my group, it was really interactive and fun to be able to conjoin with people and develop a commercial. I always wanted to record and edit a video for something fun and I was glad I was allowed to do it with my group. Also, learning about the different important details of editing, filming, and etc. was really interesting to me, especially since I am really invested in filming and editing. It was fun to explore new things and be able to understand the small details of everything. By using my vocabulary words for, casual things I would usually say was really interesting and fun to do. All in all, this was a very fun project and I really do enjoy it, and I would love to do it again some day .

The Dream Team

 This project I will be working with a group of friends, that I have acquired over the period of this class. For the first project I worked with 2 people, Alejandro and Pedro. It wasn't the best group, I felt as if I did majority of the work and it made the project not so fun at all, I was aggravated and I did not want to be apart of something that was so one sided. With all of that, it caused me to work by myself for the second project which was more enjoyable in the sense that i didn't have people just benefiting from my work for free, but it was stressful at the same time, because I really didn't have anyone to be my actors. Especially since my family was always, and my friend schedules never really matched up together. This motivated me to meet a group of people that had the same drive for their work as me and the same type of decorum, when it comes to putting in a hand in a project.
