The Steps To The Finale

I am doing a music video to the song, Break Every Chain by Tasha Cobbs. The way I will be portraying this is I have have either a family or one person, that is less fortunate and that is down, and I will be ministering in dance and song, with eh song. It will be an act of encouragement to encourage the people that God is with them and the chain that are holding them captive, and every bad situation they may endure, the power of God can break it.


Props

For props I can have a microphone, food items, money, a bible, etc. As costumes, each prop will play its specific role in the music video. These will just be added to make the feel of the video itself tie into the overall theme I'd like to portray 

Costumes 

 The costumes going to be used will be a gown, a suit, and a ripped up shipped, and some ripped up pants, dirty slides, etc.  Each specific costume will have its respective role within the music video and its coming together of the theme

Add-on To Theme

 The appearance of the character 1 family, will be distressful, sad and hurt, however towards the end it will change to a more graceful and happy appearance. Character 2, will remain happy and graceful throughout the music video, he/she will be the encourager and the main person of the music video. The song starts off chill and calm, during this stage this is when character 1 will be in it's sad stage, as the song comes to an end that is when character 1 gets happy and the song lifts as his spirit lift aswell. 

Schedule 

November 22nd, 2021: My brother and I will begin to record the beginning of the film, with the opening set of the whole thing 

TAKE THE REST OF THE BREAK OFF 

November 29th, 2021:  My brother and I will continue to film the part that I have him included in and fix some of the final touches 

November 30th, 2021: I will film the parts where I have self alone parts and just finish the music video in its entirety.

After all of this I will start to complete the editing portion of this, this has not yet been dated. 


Location List

For this music video, we will be doing it 3 locations 

My first location will be at my home church. I will be filming here because a typically gospel video is filmed in a church, and having some scene filmed in the church would help to the overall aura that I am trying to create within the film

My second location will be at the Hamptons park. These settings would help add to the helpless feel I am trying to create for one of my characters. This typical type of person can usually be found in popular public areas, like parks. Also, I would like to have some inspirational lyrics and dances done in the park as-well

My last location will be in my community, just for some open shots and to just a freeness area, that's not really restricted to one specific spot, I will experiment with this location when I arrive. 


Back-up Plan 

We only have one outside location, if the whether does not permit for us to go, we can either rush back the filming date, since we have time or we can go to the Margate park, which has covering. All my locations will be okay.

The Final Apple Watch Commercial

This  commercial was really fun to make and enjoyable. First, with working with my group, it was really interactive and fun to be able to conjoin with people and develop a commercial. I always wanted to record and edit a video for something fun and I was glad I was allowed to do it with my group. Also, learning about the different important details of editing, filming, and etc. was really interesting to me, especially since I am really invested in filming and editing. It was fun to explore new things and be able to understand the small details of everything. By using my vocabulary words for, casual things I would usually say was really interesting and fun to do. All in all, this was a very fun project and I really do enjoy it, and I would love to do it again some day .

The Dream Team

 This project I will be working with a group of friends, that I have acquired over the period of this class. For the first project I worked with 2 people, Alejandro and Pedro. It wasn't the best group, I felt as if I did majority of the work and it made the project not so fun at all, I was aggravated and I did not want to be apart of something that was so one sided. With all of that, it caused me to work by myself for the second project which was more enjoyable in the sense that i didn't have people just benefiting from my work for free, but it was stressful at the same time, because I really didn't have anyone to be my actors. Especially since my family was always, and my friend schedules never really matched up together. This motivated me to meet a group of people that had the same drive for their work as me and the same type of decorum, when it comes to putting in a hand in a project.
